Railroaded

I'm on a track
I don't want to be on
One going the wrong way.

I was pushed there
by a locomotive,
I'm only the caboose.

What can I do,
no power of my own.
The engines big and strong.

I set my brakes
and broke the coupler
trying to slow them down.

Railroading's wrong;
strong pushing the weak
just because of their power.

But we can fight,
No need to take it.
We need to find our voice.

They might have pull
but we have the squeal
and the squeaky gets greased.

Speak up loud,
stand firmly in place;
lock arms with each other.

Together we are
the  much bigger train
harder to push around.
